Semi State Tickets the dunk

General admission tickets for Saturday’s class 2A Boy’s Basketball Semi-State to be played at Washington High School will be on sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday thru Thursday, and Friday from 8 am to Noon in the Forest Park High School athletic office and main office.  Tickets can also be purchased at all four Southeast Dubois Schools Tuesday thru Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.


Game tickets are $8 for adults and students (K-12) and are good for both the 4 p.m. game between Forest Park and Indianapolis Scecina and the 3A game between Danville and Evansville Bosse.

Congrats to the Cedar Crest 6th grade robotics team.  They have qualified to participate in the world competitions coming up in April at Louisville.

4-Star Schools 4-Star

Congrats to Ferdinand and Pine Ridge Elementary for being named a 4-Star school by the IN- Dept of Education.


Pike Central Vocational Welding students swept the top five places at the Region 4 Skills USA Welding Contest held at Vincennes University on Saturday, February 3.  Six Pike Central Vocational Welding students competed with Forest Park junior Elliott Wiseman placing first.  Elliott received a $2,500 scholarship from Vincennes University; and a $5,000 scholarship from Ohio Technical College. 


Lilly Scholar Winner! Connor

Dubois County student Connor Luebbehusen has been named the recipient of a four-year, full-tuition scholarship as the Dubois County Community Foundation 2018 Lilly Endowment Community Scholar.  This is Forest Park's fourth (4th) Lilly Scholar in a row.

Art Students Recognized Art Work Display

Congratulations to the following students who had their artwork accepted in the 38th Annual Juried High School Art Exhibition at Brescia University. Seniors Haly Jones and Benessa Morton, junior Marcus Pfrang, sophomores Kenlee Gehlhausen, Makayla McKim, Ali Pund, Madi Tretter, Mason VanMeter and freshman Magda Alvis. The students work will be on display from Nov. 1 to Dec. 1 at Brescia University Art Gallery.

The Marching Rangers will be hosting their Third Annual Mattress Fundraiser in conjunction with this year’s Flea Market on Friday, August 4th and Saturday, August 5th

Name brand (Simmons, Comfortaire, Intellibed, Southerland, Wellsville Mattress and Tranquility Sleep Systems) mattress sets will be sold at up to 50% below retail prices. These are all top quality mattresses with full factory warranties. All sizes and price ranges. Delivery is available.

NEW Immunization rules for 6th and 11th Graders vaccines


In anticipation of the proposed school requirements for the 2018-19 year, the Dubois Co Health Dept. will offer vaccines listed below.  They also
offer the HPV (gardasil) vaccine.

Prior to grade 6, Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, and pertussis), Menactra (Meningitis) and Hepatitis A, which is a 2 dose series spaced 6 months apart is required.

Prior to grade 12, Menactra (Meningitis), Hepatitis A and Men B (Bexsero), which is a 2 dose series spaced 1 month apart is required.

Congratulations to the Forest Park High School  yearbook.  The Tracer, has be recognized for excellence and featured in the 2017 Jostens Look Book, celebrating the best-of-best-the-best in yearbook design and coverage. Along with design excellence, the annually published Look Book honors the important role well-created yearbooks play in helping schools chronicle the experiences, stories and achievements most relevant to students and that academic year. The Forest Park Tracer was one of only 418 yearbooks selected from approximately 3,000.

The Tracer was created by Mallory Dale, Emma Fraze, Vanessa Lange, Autumn Recker, Aliya Haake, Paige Seger, Jody Henke, Kyra Helming, Liv Brames, Skyla McKim, Amy Metz and Brianna Eckert under the direction of Tammy Taylor, Forest Park High School yearbook adviser.

Ferdinand Elementary Pre-School and KG Orientation box of crayons

Thursday, August 3rd  -  PRE-SCHOOL and  Kindergarten Orientation are on Thursday, August 3rd at Ferdinand Elementary School.

We encourage Parents only at our Orientations. 

PRE-SCHOOL will begin at 6:00 pm

Kindergarten will begin at 6:30

If you have not provided these prior to Orientation - we will need you to please bring the child's birth certificate and updated immunization records.
