Mr. Lee Bilderback Wins Peabody

Congrats to Mr. Lee Bilderback of Cedar Crest Intermediate school for winning the Leaders in Education $1000 award from Peabody Energy.  He is now eligible for the REGIONAL contest to be announced in August.


Yearbook Wins Awards!

The 2014-15 yearbook - The Tracer- received four awards at the 23rd Annual USI Media Day on Friday, Feb 27th. The Tracer placed 1st in Best Coverage and Best Academic Section, 2nd in Best Portrait Section and 3rd in Best Sports Section. Congratulations to the yearbook staff.


2015 Girls Basketball Sectional Tickets

General Admission Season tickets for the 2A Girl’s Basketball Sectional to be played at Forest Park are on sale in the Forest Park athletic office daily from 8 am to Noon and from 1 pm to 3 pm. Only the season tickets, good for all 3 sessions can be purchased in advance and the price is $10. Individual session tickets for $6 will only be available at the gate; they will not be sold in advance. Season tickets for $10 will also be available each night at the gate. The Rangers will play Tell City next Friday at 6:30 pm EST.


CHILI SUPPER

The Forest Park Athletic Boosters will hold its annual chili supper on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria.  Tickets will be sold for $5.00 in advance at the high school Athletic office until Friday, January 30th.  Tickets may also be purchased from any JR/SR high school athlete.  Tickets the night of the supper will be sold for $7.00.  If anyone would like to donate a dessert for the supper please call the athletic office at 367-1831.   Booster memberships will also be available the night of the supper.  Forest Park will host Southridge in Boys’ Basketball following the supper; JV will start at 6:00 p.m.


SP&F Pork Chop Dinner

Sunday, Jan. 18th @ Fleig’s Café serving from 10:00am-2:00pm and at Pine Ridge School from 10:30am-1:30pm. Dining room and bar @ Fleig’s Café open for dine in or carry out. Local Delivery Availiable: call 367-1310

STATE BAND CHAMPS!

Congrats to the Marching Rangers for their 9th state championship in school history.  A 3 peat to top it off!


Basketball SEASON TICKETS

Forest Park Boys Basketball Season Ticket Request Postcards have been mailed out to everyone that purchased tickets last year.  If you want to keep your same seats, please mail the postcard along with a self-addressed stamped envelope and we will return the tickets to you.  All last year season ticket holders, who purchased all sport passes at the beginning of the school year, need to return their Ticket Request Postcards with a self-addressed stamped envelope also.  Students at Forest Park Jr. /Sr. High School will get their season tickets on Wednesday, November 19th during school.

 

Anyone wanting to change seats or become a new season ticket holder may do so by reporting to Buechler Arena at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, November 12th.    All seats belonging to previous season ticket holders that have not been claimed before 3:00 PM on the deadline will be available to new season ticket holders on November 12th.  Season ticket prices are $35 for adults and $30 for students in grades one through 12.  General admission price for home games will be $5 for adults and students.

 


YEARBOOKS!

The 2014 Forest Park High School Yearbooks are in. Past graduates, parents or present students can pick the yearbooks up during the day at the high school. If you want and did not pre-order the cost is $55.00.  The 2015 High School Yearbooks are on sale until September 12, 2014 for $45.00. Budding Leaf

Budding LEAF is a Summer Academy for 8-12 year olds by the students of LEAF June 1-6. Learning Experiences in Applied Fields (LEAF) is a peer to peer learning network founded by 9 high school students in August 2013. We have since grown, morphed, and spirally developed into what we are today.
