Mr. Prusz's Physics and Calculus class launch their rockets.
The study was on propulsion. The students used compressed air and water. Various size and shape bottles were used by the students. They experimented with launch angles, various launch pressures, and how much water to include inside our bottle rockets. After watching numerous launches with a variety of combinations of the aforementioned variables, students drew conclusions about how best to design a rocket and how to launch it.
Prizes for the rockets that went the highest, farthest and one category was for the coolest looking. Each class had a competition and also awarded an overall winner.
